I have been sewing like crazy but most has been for gifts. I will show a few things I have made that I can show. I don't think the people I made them for read my blog so I should be safe, LOL. I made another Nightingale quilt using the Dorothy's Journey fabric. I just finished binding it! I have not taken a photo of the finished quilt yet though. Michigan weather has NOT been cooperating

Chris was taking out the garbage and happened to look up and guess who was in the tree? Our owl!! I followed her as she flew down the way, hoping to get some good shots. Then, I was taking Cole for a walk on his harness and leash when I happened to look down and see this Luna Moth. I think he was in the process of dying as the bottom was shriveling up. My daughter told me they are born

He is a purple peacock. Then there is the

The spikes are not how they are supposed to be and where they join up to the head unit isn't perfect but DONE is better than perfect, right? So my porcupines have rogue spikes. Real life porcupines aren't perfectly symmetrical are they?I'm just happy that I can move on
read moreI want to do a quick post on Cole. I have given him his injections now for 9 days. We have 84 days total to do. He is such a trooper about getting his shots! After each shot he "angry eats". He is eating better and acting more like himself, if not even MORE loving than before. As you can see in this photo he is still quite thin.He is much more alert and himself for sure. You can see his

Instead it was a weekend full of lots of anxiety as I was working through all the information I received on Thursday at the vet.On Thursday, Cole stopped eating. He has always been a fussy eater but he finally stopped. He had gotten so thin and I was worried that he might have some kind of blockage. My regular

I was gifted this fabric and decided to play around with a new to me technique. The blog I got it from no longer has it posted. If you follow this link you can see how to make the blocks. It

They removed the cataracts but did not implant a lens (it was before they did that, I guess). She developed Schizophrenia and Bi-Polar at age 13. She currently lives in an AFC home with really good people. That being said, she fell

I know I talk about my life too but nothing very exciting has been happening there either, LOL. I needed to make a pillow cover for my friend, Traci's, quilt shop (Something Quilty). I made the Tribute Star
